Mississippi Gaming Commission Meeting Report November 19

November 19 Meeting

The Mississippi Gaming Commission held its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, November 19, at 9:00 a.m. by videoconference. Executive Director Allen Godfrey, Chairman Al Hopkins and Commissioners Jerry Griffith and Tom Gresham all participated. The following matters were considered:

LICENSING

The Commission approved the issuance of licenses to the following:

  • Reel Games, Inc., as a Manufacturer and Distributor

FINDING OF SUITABILITY

The Commission approved a finding of suitability for the following person:

  • Gregory David Guida, Foundation Gaming & Entertainment, LLC / Casino Vicksburg, LLC / Majestic Mississippi, LLC

REQUESTS FOR APPROVAL

The Commission approved requests for approval for the following:

  • American Wagering, Inc.

    • Acquisition of Control of William Hill PLC, William Hill Holdings Ltd., William Hill U.S. Holdco, Inc., and American Wagering, Inc.

    • Registration of Caesars Entertainment, Inc., as a Publicly Traded Corporation of American Wagering, Inc.

    • De-Registration of William Hill PLC as a Publicly Traded Corporation of American Wagering, Inc.

  • Sportradar Solutions LLC

    • Transfer of the Equity Interests or Securities of Sportradar Solutions LLC from Sportradar Holding AG to Sportradar Jersey Holding Ltd.

    • Registration of each Sportradar Jersey Holding Ltd. and Sportradar Management Ltd. as a Holding Company of Sportradar Solutions LLC

    • Pledges of the Equity Interests or Securities

    • Imposition of Equity Restrictions Including Negative Equity Pledges 

  • End of Requests for Approval

WORK PERMITS AND PATRON DISPUTE HEARINGS

  • The Commission approved the recommendation of the Executive Director to accept the decision of the hearing officer with respect to the work permit hearing held on August 6, 2020, regarding Amanda George. 

  • The Commission approved the recommendation of the Executive Director to accept the decision of the hearing officer with respect to the decision rendered on August 6, 2020, regarding James D. Myles vs. Treasure Bay, LLC d/b/a Treasure Bay Casino.
