On August 15, 2011 at 43 N.J.R. 2110, the Department of Human Services published notice of its proposed amendment to its rules governing staff to consumer ratios in partial care programs. The Department is proposing that the current staff to consumer ratio requirement of 1:12 be changed to 1:15.
On August 15, 2011 at 43 N.J.R. 2112, the Department of Human Services published notice of its proposal of amendment to its rules regarding payment for partial hospitalization services under Medicaid.
On August 15, 2011 at 43 N.J.R. 2144, the Department of Human Services published notice of its withdrawal of a proposal to readopt without amendment the licensure standards for community care residences.

In response to some commentors from the home medical equipment industry, the Board delayed its proposed amendments to the respiratory care regulations that would have disallowed the demonstration of respiratory equipment by unlicensed persons. The Board will reconsider the proposed amendments in light of the concerns raised by various commentors.
