Professional Biography

Brett Seifarth focuses his practice on aviation finance. He has significant experience advising representing manufacturers, commercial banks, operating lessors, equity participants, finance companies, private equity funds, hedge funds, issuers, servicers, and other investors in a wide variety of domestic and cross-border transactions involving commercial and business aircraft.

Brett counsels clients on transactions such as portfolio acquisitions and divestitures, operating leases, leveraged leases, sale-leasebacks, secured debt and back-leveraged financings, predelivery payment financings, residual value and credit support agreements, and asset-backed securitizations. He also has experience advising lessors and creditors on various restructuring matters, including in airline bankruptcies. He also advises clients, including high-net-worth individuals, on aviation-related regulatory compliance and enforcement matters.
