Catie Whalen is Web Manager at the National Law Review. In her role, Catie optimizes client content for search engines, using SEO best practices and ensuring proper legal and jurisdictional classification. Catie is also responsible for scheduling social media posts to engage and grow the NLR’s social media following.

Catie has a decade of experience in technical and legal writing for an immigration law firm, with additional experience in marketing. She holds a BA in English with a minor in communications from Loyola University Chicago. Catie applies her strengths in legal writing, editing and marketing to the NLR's content strategy. In her free time, Catie enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes, going to the movies and reading fiction.
