Michael J. Kozimor is an Associate in the Cleveland, Ohio, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He represents clients in a variety of employment litigation matters, including claims involving the Fair Labor Standards Act, Family Medical Leave Act, Americans With Disabilities Act, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour issues.
Mr. Kozimor advocates for clients in both state and federal court matters, as well as defending clients before the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. He has experience advising clients on complying with state and federal wage deduction laws, wage garnishments, workers’ compensation, and revising employee handbooks.
While attending law school, Mr. Kozimor served as a Student Advisor and Secretary of the American Constitution Society. He also volunteered with the Cleveland Legal Aid Society. Mr. Kozimor was the recipient of three CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Property, Family Law, and Law Practice Management.
