In the United States, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the  Department of Justice (DOJ) regulate antitrust and trade-regulations laws. From guaranteeing market monopolization doesn’t polarize the market, to regulating ‘no-poach’ antitrust agreements between employers, there are many regulations that govern this area of law. The National Law Review covers cases and news from the United States and internationally.

Joint ventures, structural issues, mergers, comparative advertising, price-fixing schemes, discrimination, and distribution constraints are among the different types of news readers will find on The National Law Review. The Antitrust Division of the DOJ highly regulates insider trading, company-organizational schemes, and monopolization by major companies, to regulate a fair and balanced industry for all companies in a given industry.

The International Trade Commission (ITC) regulates international antitrust laws, alongside other international government agencies. Illegal market trades, global competition law, international trade agreements, The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), are all governed by the US and international government agencies, to guarantee fair dealings internationally. The National Law Review has regular updates on NAFTA negotiations as wells as news regarding the TPP and the United States' role in the treaty.

The Committee of Foreign Investments in the United States is also in charge of the regulation of antitrust agreements and mergers and acquisition deals between US and international businesses. The CFIUS governs investments between two American companies, as well as US-based and international companies who contract in a purchase-sale agreement to determine fairness, and proper balance in negotiations between companies on the international level.

Due to the different laws in the US and around the world, there are many government bodies that regulate and govern the antitrust and trade regulation industry. Not only to maintain a fair balance between trade partners, but also to ensure market monopolization does not occur, allowing major corporations to eliminate smaller, local, and international competitors in their niche. The National Law Review keeps readers up to date with expert legal analysis on these issues.
