As reported by the Wyoming Business Report, Wyoming Republican Senator Mike Enzi and Colorado Democrat Senator Michael Bennet have sponsored legislation to codify the voluntary protection program of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to encourage employers to incorporate voluntary programs to improve the health and safety of their work sites.

The legislation is entitled the Voluntary Protection Program Act (S. 2881), but the full text is not yet available at congress.gov, though, it should appear within the next several days.
