Eisenberg, and while living in Beijing, China, she worked remotely as a patent law clerk for Inskeep Intellectual Property Group, Inc., where she evaluated biomedical device technology inventions in light of prior art to develop strategies to effectively protect property rights. She was also an engineer and clinical research coordinator for the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, D.C., where she designed testing devices and developed procedures to assess the efficacy of arm prostheses.
